Globe to offer In-flight roaming: Text or call while inside a plane
The good news:
Globe will soon be offering in-flight roaming to its subscribers! Soon, Globe subscribers will be able to enjoy using their mobile phones while inside the plane.
The not so bad news.. after the break.
… the slightly bad news is.. its only offered for POSTPAID subscribers and those who are subscribed to roaming plans.
At least its the start of something right? Eventually they will offer this to other subscribers as well. Its just a matter of time before they do that. =p
Also, those hoping for internet connectivity during air travel will still have to wait for this to happen. Buts its just around the corner. Did you know that mobile phones are starting to replace boarding passes?
Speaking of starting, it was SMART who first offered in-flight services in December last year.
