HP Mini – 29k and windows vista – OUCH!

May 16th, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Mobile Brands, UMPC

I’ve been wanting to buy the HP Compaq 2133 Mini note PC or simply HP Mini since the first time i blogged about it.

But as yuga tech reports.. the HP Mini is now out… Unfortunately, it is priced at P29,990. WHOAH! That’s expensive for a UMPC – comparing to Asus Eee PC and other UMPCs.

What’s worse, its running on Windows VISTA! YAIKS!

Well, i think i’d have to reconsider. I won’t buy this expensive UMPC. For sure there will be other UMPCs that will be released this year that’s better and cheaper!

With P30k, you’d be able to buy a full blown laptop… The only problem with that is the weight.. but i guess that’s better rather than pay a high price.

So, I’m again on the look out for my next gadget… definitely not the HP MIni.

Haha. Why the Vista hate?? :) ) My Acer TravelMate 6291 runs on Windows Vista Ultimate, and with 1.5 GB of RAM, it’s pretty reliable! LOL. Why the hate?

Man, that UMPC’s expensive. For a UMPC at least. But it’s worth the money, right?
