I’ve just been a victim of a nasty SPAM.
I always check my spam box everyday for possible not spam mails. I saw CNN Breaking news alerts. I didn’t mind it.. since the story in the breaking news did not interest me.
Yesterday, i saw a new breaking news mail.. still in the Spam Box.. but now it came from MSNBC. The breaking news was “Jerry Yang bids goodbye to yahoo” and another one “Microsoft announces takeover bid for intel”.
Turns out, these messages are truly SPAM.

I searched for thenews at www.msnbc.com.. but didn’t find it.
I should have checked the sender… Oh well.. i’ll just charge this to experience.
Again, do not open this email.. delete it quickly.

Gmail has acted on this and inserted a warning on the message:
I’ve been receiving them too. Like you, I also check my spam folder. I just deleted them. Weird ng mga spams ngayon. lol.

spammers are really getting wiser these days.
using interesting news like that as subjects in their messages.
yeah people are actually getting these on their cell phones now! like me, im one of the unlucky ones! same exact msg and all too.
