EOS 5D Mark II
Three years after Canon’s EOS 5D broke into the scene with a full-frame sensor, the EOS 5D Mark II follows up with yet another leap in DSLR performance.
Now, the EOS 5D Mark II once again introduces significant performance gains: a new 21.1 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, DIGIC 4 image processor, and a host of advanced features to make the EOS 5D Mark II the platform of choice for professional photographers and advanced photography enthusiasts who demand the best. At the core of the EOS 5D Mark II is a new 21.1 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with EOS Integrated Cleaning System. The EOS 5D Mark II not only provides ample pixels for sharp detail and enlargements, but because it is a full-frame sensor, it also possesses wider dynamic range for subtler tones in images, and low noise at higher ISO sensitivities. It is also equipped with Canon’s latest DIGIC 4 image processor that combines ultra-fast image processing (1.3 times faster processing than DIGIC III) with fine-detail and natural colour reproduction.
