UPDATED: Smart Bro unlimited prepaid plan discontinued
So, it was true after all.. Smart really did have a P1,500 smart bro plan… just like what was “whispered” to me.
I was more focused on their prepaid plan which dropped prices and would now only cost P2,500.
However, i just learned that they have discontinued their Smart Bro P1,500 unlimited plan in lieu of “System enhancement”.
I called up Smart Bro’s customer service hotline (*1888) and they confirmed this news.
I was planning to get this this plan coz i will surely be “sulit” for me. I think it was too late.. hahaha.. But Smart Bro said they’ll re-issue this promo soon.
UPDATE:
I went to Smart Wireless Center in SM Davao.. Asked if they still have the unlimited plan. She said yes. I was surprised and told her that the customer service rep of *1888 said it has been discontinued. She said that it might be true in some areas (like Manila) and she continued to tell me that no one has bought the unlimited plan from them yet since the P1,500 went on sale .
So… the unlimited plan is still there and it looks like it is only offered to some areas.

nag o OJT ako sa Smart Wireless Center sa SM Marilao. Na encounter ko nga ito last week. May nagtanong sa amin. At hanggang ngayon, wala pa namang advisory sa amin na discontinued na ang plan na ito.. hmmm..
