One of the reasons why cloned or copy cat mobile phones are cheap is because they do not pass through a series of quality checks. That is aside from the fact that they use different materials than the original ones.
Nokia recently released pictures of how they do some quality testing on their mobile phones. Here are some pics from Gizmodo:

The first pic on the left is the stress test.. How far can the mobile phone bend without breaking. The pic next to it, is a poke test! Each phones is poked a million times!
But i think Nokia did not test their gadgets against stickers!Just look at this photo..

That’s my Nokia N82. I was surprised to see that the outer cover got peeled off!
The cause…. a sticker… an ordinary sticker! See image below.

I went to a Casino, then they have a policy of putting stickers on the cameras of the cellphones. Can i charge the casino for the damage? Or should i give it back to nokia for a poor product? =p
Nahhh…. its juts an outer layer.

sounds like you’re big nokia fan huh?
Whose the source of copy cat cell phones? Where? We don’t know. And people don’t want to tell.
Not only quality is at stake, also features like the memory. I had a china made L6 motorolla before that crawls and runs out of memory all the time.
I wouldnt want to buy N70 if they done a stress test on it before they release it on the Market.ROFLMAO
