Nokia N82 firmware update
I’ve just updated my Nokia N82 to the latest released firmware version 31.0.016.
According to nokia this latest firmware gives the n82 the following:
- lets you enjoy better games through N-Gage patches
- Discover online video support through Flash Lite 3 enhancements
- Integrated Hands Free (IHF) speaker improvements
- Maps 2.0 updates
- system-wide improvements including security updates.
The firmware is available through the Nokia Software Updater.
Please note that if you have encrypted your device or memory card, decrypt it before the software update to avoid possible data loss
Nokia also released another firmware version - 31.1.016 – which i think will cater for N82 users in other regions.
You can check if your Nokia N82 can be updated to the new firmware here.
I haven’t encountered any problem yet but i made a quick rounds on the net an found some issues with the latest firmware such the N-gage problem – solved.
If you are still experiencing problems with the latest firmware, try typing *#7370# on the stadnby screen then phone ask for lock code witch is 12345 (default).
