Globe enhanced their mobile internet browsing. Back then, they have the Time Browsing and Per KB browsing. This time, they have a new name and a better scheme – duration-based charging.

The subscriber will not be charged for multiple connect-disconnect browsing. For as long as it is within the 15 minutes browsing you will only be charged P5, regardless of how many times you connect and disconnect.
YEY! Good move Globe!
This was one of the not soooo good part of their old scheme.
- Succeeding connections will be charged P5 for 15 minutes. If disconnected within the 15 minutes, reconnection will be considered a new session charged at P5.
Also, Globe has now just made is prepaid Globe visibility more affordable. From 2,500, its now down to only P1,895.
I beleive that the enhanced duration based charging will also be applicable to Globe Visibility users unlike before where their Time Based scheme was ”Not applicable to subscribers on Data Plans (i.e. Visibility).”
I wonder if they still ask for a P1,000 add-on if you get a visibility Plan which was one of the major turn-off for me that made me get a smart bro instead. They said its for the installation fee. WHOAH.. expensive installation process.
I was also looking at using Globe’s visibility unfortunately, you still have to pay P1,000 on top of the P1,499 of their unlimited plan. That makes a total payment of about P2,500.00 for the outright purchase. BUt they are only advertising that you can get the unlimited plan for only P1,499.
I hope they change that too.
Let’s see what smart bro and and Sun Broadband will offer after this development from globe.
