Philippine Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile was fruious as he recounts how he lost his cellphone call and text load even without using it.

Abs-Cbn news reports that Senator Enrile will summon officials of the National telecommunications Commission over his lost cellphone load which he feels had been “stolen”.
“There’s an expiration? Eh bakit nila tinatanggal? Di ko naman ginagamit. (Why did they take it? I didn’t even use it.) What is their right to confiscate my money without even so much as saying I beg your pardon. Aba’y ‘di pwede ‘yun (That can’t be),” Enrile told reporters.
First, I don’t know why the good senator seems to have a prepaid account when they should have a postpaid account instead.. Or maybe for security and wiretapping reasons, its better not to have a postpaid account.
Second, this “modus” has been a problem of most prepaid subscribers for quite sometime now and I’m surprised that Mr. Senator only reacted now… when he was the victim. Enrile also pointed out that subscribers should not be receiving SPAM texts and being charged for it (that’s outright roberry).
You will find a lot of forums with the topic about the “lost loads” where forumers are complaining that the telcos are eating up their load.
This incident comes as a congressman has been pushing to Tax SMS or texting of telcos as big revenues are bound to be realized by the Government. And the funds that would be collected will fund educational assistance for our youth. The objective is award winning but the manner that it is to be done is not that appealing.
Telcos are now saying that if they will be taxed more… then they will have to let the subsrcibers shoulder it. Which means no more promos like unlimited texting and it is possible that the cost of SMS will increase.
Maybe the furious senate president can also include this issue in their hearing.














Yah, why the h%&L they take my load too? am not even using it. just like now!!! i just loaded and went to sleep, i woke up, and my load was gone!!!! GLOBE!!! grrrrr…..It happened many times. I used to load up 200 to 300 but that SH*T happens so i decided to laod small increment (40 pesos) but still, it happens…. ummm, i think i would just need some lifestyle change. not to be very dependednt on my cellphone so GLOBE doesnt suck my hard earned money…. and I think am on the right track!!! BYE GLOBE!
this incident was happened to me, too. I’m a Globe subscriber and I love their services but the fact that they always eat up our cp loads, I hate them. I just wished that the government will make a law for this load-eating-modus.
I am using SMART and everytime I load my phone lots of spam text from smart comes in and eats up my load..This didn’t just happen to me once but most of the time when I load my phone. I am so irritated with this. I am planning to have my whole family switch to another server because of this. They are stealing our money from us.
Thank goodness this happened to a Senator. All of us “common people” have been complaining about it for quite a while. I’m not a fan of Sen. Enrile, but I will fully support him on this.
There is hope for us victims. Look at what happened to the Book Blockade issue. Miraculously, despite the stubborness of certain government officials, the taxation on imported books was lifted. We can do the same to these theives in the telco industry.

Last June 2, 2009, i share a load to my customer since its one of my business. Then received “Sorry, your request can’t be accomodated at this time. Please try again later.”
Kahit na failed, naka deduct na yung 150 load na share ko. Failed, wla din tanggap receiver, pero deducted na ako.
Today, June 4, ganun na naman nangyari. share a load ng 150, then another 150 since 300 pina share a load ng customer ko. After 30 minutes(tagal yun), bago naka receive ng message.
First message was “Sorry, your request can’t be accomodated at this time. Please try again later.”
Second message was about 150 successfully transfered.
But after cheking my balnace, 300 is already deducted from my load. Though, only 150 transaction was succesfull, yet, 300 was deducted to my load.
Called 215 (share a load hotline) and was adviced to wait for for 24 hours para ma load. eh, kung ikaw ang customer, maka hintay ka kaya ng 24 hours? hindi!
hayz. sira-sira na talaga system ng globe.
either sira, o sinadya talaga ito.
buti nalang, palagi ako check balance before doing share a load. kundi, nawawala lang load ko ng di ko nalalaman.

THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING THAT GLOBE SYSTEM HAS AN AUTOMATIC DEDUCTIONS OF LOAD IN THEIR PREPAID SERVICES. I WAS ALSO A VICTIM OF THIS “DISAPPEARING LOAD” SYSTEM OF GLOBE MANY TIMES. WHY NOT COMPLAIN? ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT FOR IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN. DAMN THIS GIANT NETWORK!!!

i loaded my account yesterday worth P30.. i only texted once and today when i checked it, kaboom !! nwala parang bula.. not only once but frequently.. i don’t receive any ringtones as others complain.. totally gone mad!! gRrrrrr…
it happens to also to my cuZ but the funny thing is that he called the customer assistance and pretend that he was a military col. in basilan and really needed that load.. SMART comply and returned his load full..
They’re not only abusing the prepaid but also the post paid. They didn’t count my sulit text although i got a confimation message and now i’m charged 600 pesos on top of my bill!
Globe really likes to eat innocent people’s money. SO GREEDY

even me. ako nga in a week twice pa. tapos yesterday lang nawalan nanaman. what seems to be the problem with globe? sayang naman ung mga niloload ko. the csr told me that if my complain is true they will bring back my load. di ba wala naman bayad ang pagtawag sa 211? I was surprised when i checked my balance nawala na naman ng 15 pesos. I hate it!
Worst was what happened to me being a GLOBE post paid (plan 800.00 0nly)subscriber. Globe, without prior notice, made KB browsing as their internet default. I went surfing for more or less 3 hours on May 31, 2009 and I got a billing statement of 32,839.36 aside from the VAT! What Globe only offers to subscribers is their 20.00/hour internet browsing promo. I wrote their customer service, they claimed it is cheaper for the KB browsing mode but, in my case, it was otherwise… Globe committed robbery! I wish Senate will also tackle this.
kakakain lang ng lod ku as in now lang. kapapaload ku lng ng upsize 35 and ung buong 30 na regular load kinain. tas nagpapasa lang me ng 2 bale um fri text nalang ung natira. unfair talaga ang smart. dis week naka 3 times na nila ako ninakawan ng lod. dapat talaga ipasara na ung smart o kaya dapat i-monitor sila. i really wanted to change my # pero hindi kasi pede. want to change network naren but um sun and globe wala signal dito sa hauz natatakpan kasi ng mataas na building katabe namen. xempre sa labas lang meron sa kalsada. bad3p dba. kaya tlagang napipilitan lang ako mag-smart. ang kapal ng muka, kawawa naman um mga tao lalo na kame mga estudyante palang. bawas baon na nga napunta pa sa wala. sana talaga me magawa ang senado para matigil na ung ganyang sistema. so much for being SMART. SMART equals PARASITE.
