Now you can enable POP access or forward your yahoo mails to another email. You just need to tweak some setting on your yahoo email account.
Lets start.
- Sign in to you yahoo mail.
- Then click on your name beside the Yahoo Mail logo to reveal the drop down menu.
- Choose “Edit My Account”.
- You will then be asked to verify you account, Just key in again your password.
- Next, edit your yahoo information. Click the Edit link beside the “Member Information” Line.
- Change the preferred content to YAHOO ASIA.
- Then click Finished.
- Accept the Terms of Service (TOS) for yahoo asia.
- After this, you will be brought back to your email homepage. You should see the YAHOO Asia logo on the top left of your screen.
We can now enable POP access and Email Forwarding. To do this:
- Click OPTIONS located somewhere at the top right of the page.
- Then Choose POP & Forwarding at the left side.
Choose Enable POP Access if you want to access your emails on device like you PDA or Mobile phones. Or choose Email Forwarding if you just want to forwards your emails from yahoo to another email account.
Enjoy it while it last! I’m sure yahoo will disable this soon.

It’s good that they made it free now. If I’m not mistaken, it was only available for premium users before.

I still go with Gmail in terms of looks, functionality, and capabilities.
All Yahoo Philippine users with email domain ends @yahoo.com.ph have this capability too.
Didnt work, may have to close the account i have (ymail.com) and open a yahoo.com.ph one.
