Two weeks ago, I got an email that Yahoo will be launching Seacrh Pad.
At first, i didn’t get what it really was. I thought yahoo was just releasing an improved version of their yahoo search. But it wasn’t. Search Pad is an add-on feature on yahoo search. And so far, i’m lovin it.

What is Search pad? In just a few words, “Search Pad is a notepad and more”.
Search Pad helps you track sites and make notes by intelligently detecting user research intent and automatically collecting sites the user visits. Search Pad turns on automatically when you’re doing research, tracking sites to make document authoring a snap. You can then quickly edit and organize your notes with the Search Pad interface, which includes drag-and-drop functionality and auto-attributed pasting.
- Search Pad detects your research intent and asks if you’d like to take notes.
- Search Pad saves the sites you’ve visited.
- You can save your documents using your Yahoo! ID so you can access your documents from anywhere on the Web.
- You can publish your document to a permanent URL to share with friends and family.
- You can even share Search Pad documents on Facebook, Twitter, or Delicious.

How has search pad helped me so far. Well, i made a search last week about a certain topic. Then. I made a another search for almost the simillar topic and Search Pad suggested the sites that i’ve previously visited. It saved me the time to bookmark the pages and look for the bookmarked pages.
