Globe Telecoms upgraded its unlimited call service Globe Duo to SUPERUO. Now, not only make unlimited Globe to landline calls to your subscribed location, but also unlimited calls to any Globe or Touch Mobile (TM) numbers to anywhere here in the Philippines
You can choose either pay P499/30 days (for postpaid) and P35/day or P599/30 days (for prepaid) subscription.
As stated above, this is an upgrade, so you need first to subscribe to globe DUO. Then deactivate it. Text “DUO OFF” and send to 8888.
Then activate SuperDuo by texting “SUPERDUO < area > ON” to 8888. The following are the available area codes at the moment:
- CEB = Cebu
- MM = Metro Manila / NCR
- TAG = Tagbilaran, Bohol
- ROX = Capiz
- NEGOC = Negros Occidental (for postpaid only as of posting time)
Your existing Globe Duo number will be retained.
Additional info from a Philmug user;
The original DUO has also the 90-day lock-up period. Pre-termination charge of 1,200 for DUO, 1,500 for SUPERDUO. You can switch to SUPERDUO from DUO even if you’re within the 90-day period. Just do so within 6 hours. Beyond that, you’ll have an additional 1,200 on your next bill.
SUPERDUO is available to prepaid subscribers in NCR, Cebu, Tagbilaran and Capiz until Jan 13, 2010.

UPDATE:
GLOBE superDUO FAQs:
- If you are subscribed to GLOBE SUPER DUO, you will not be able to enjoy unlimited free calls to a landline that is not in the vicinity of these areas. Similarly, inbound calls to your GLOBE SUPER DUO number from a landline number that is outside of the vicinity of these areas will not be considered free and unlimited.
- For new subscriber: Get a Globe Plan, sign the SUPER DUO Promo Certificate in the Business Center and the SUPER DUO activation is automatic.

How do you renew your Superduo if you are prepaid? Is there a lock in period for Prepaid? Hope you get to keep your Superduo number if you load on time.
After your 30 days are up just register again within the next 30 days. SUPERDUO 599 text to 8888. That way you get to keep the same SUPERDUO number.
No there is no lock in period so you do not get penalized if you decide not to continue after thirty days. I know postpaid has a 90 day lock in period.
Quick Question:
We are living at caloocan-marilao boundary. will superduo number work in that area? Thanks!
Hmmm.. most likely yes..
But you can call 211 (globe hotline) to confirm.
Correction to my earlier post for superduo prepaid it’s SUPERDUO 599 text to 8888. Example SUPERDUO MM 599 and thext to 8888.
Text that within 30 days after last SUPERDUO expiry so you get to keep your original number.

How would i know if i’m still registered to superduo? i have a postpaid plan. thanks.
