Friendster applications

October 17th, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in Information Technology, Tech Events, Tech News

What happened to Friendster? From a hip and cool website, Friendster has now been over ran by Facebook. Maybe not in terms of the total number of account holders, but in terms of how many people are really using it.

Just recently, I got a Friendster newsletter informing me that they now have Friendster apps.

ScreenShot006 I’m not sure but I think apps in Friendster is not a new thing. Maybe they’re just launching it again. Like saying.. “hey! we have apps too!”

Speaking of re-launch… I heard from someone working at Friendster Philippines that they will be re-launching Friendster to gain back their lost users from Facebook.

Hmmmm.. let’s see what gimmick Friendster  will do to regain their somewhat lost lead here in the Philippines.

I, too, have both Friendster and Facebook but I like the latter more. Maybe because it is aesthetically better than Friendster and it much more accepted globally.
