Sony Ericsson will be releasing two mobile phones this month, the Satio (idou) and Aino. Lets take a closer look at these two phones.
Though the Sony Ericsson is bigger (112 x 55 x 13 mm) than the Sony Ericsson Aino (104 x 50 x 15.5 mm), the latter is a bit heavier at 134 g with the satio having only 126 g.
Both has touch screen capabilities though Aino has limited features in this category.
Both phones can use microSD memory cards of up to 32GB. However, only 8GB is included in the package for both phones.
The Aino will let you access HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA, 2 Mbps. However, Satio gives a better connection with HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 3.6 Mbps. Both phones are wi-fi capable.
But for me, the best part of these two phones would have to be their cameras. The Aino is equipped with an 8 megapixel cam, autofocus, LED flash, Touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilizer, smart contrast, red-eye reduction. But the Satio is better equipped having a12 MegaPixel camera, 4000 x 3000 pixels, autofocus, with xenon flash for taking pictures and, video LED flash! WHOAH! Now ain’t that sweet?! (wait… does it have zoom functions?)
When I first knew that the Satio, which was then called an Idou, has a 12 megapixel phone and all the nice sweet features, i said to myself that its going to be my next phone.
Speaking of cameras, both phones can be used for video calling. However, the Aino doesn’t have a secondary camera.

I’m really excited about the Satio. I just really hope it won’t be too pricey.. here’s some prices I’ve found over the net:

I’m soo looking forward to the Satio as well!!! And very excited about actually handling it. The Sony Ericsson store in Glorietta said it will go for around 30k… tsk tsk, I hope it gets here soon in time for Christmas!
I’m just wondering how I can sync my mac with the satio. any notes on that? 
Hmm.. because its running on S60.. i’m sure that will be easy.
