I was looking for a second hand TV last year. Budget was P5,000. After a week, I couldn’t find one within the said budget.
Good thing I stumbled upon this TV Tuner from CDR King – > USB TV Dongle Hybrid Analog + Digital (CDR-721).
First CDR King gave me an analog unit. But it didn’t work on my Cignal TV. So I had it replaced (long story). Though I haven’t checked yet if it will work on Digital Satellite, I’ve been using the TV Tuner on regular cable (Sky Cable) and so far, I’m happy with it.
Got a splitter and a long cable and plugged the unit on my Laptop.
So now, Whichever home I go – in Marikina, Bulacan, Davao, or Comval - I can plug a cable line and watch TV on my laptop.
The best part… its just P1,880. I saved some P3,000.

Sir, could you make an ISO for the cd provided with the cdr king tv tuner? I lost mine last year.
No need for that. Just download the installer via their website. See the link in the article.
Yeah, thanks for the link. But i think the page only provides download for the driver, not the application.
Oh, they just termed it as drivers. but when I downloaded it before, its the whole installer.
Here you go

have you tried Cignal Tv on USB TV Dongle Hybrid Analog + Digital (CDR-721)? I’m considering it butI don’t want to take a risk kasi baka hindi gumana. I bought in before from cdr-king a USB analogue tv tuner but it didn’t work. They agreed to change with other items fortunately.
