And I thought Nokia has abandoned the best 5 megapixel mobile phone in the market…
Nokia released the much awaited firmware update for the Nokia N82 – version 35.0.002. Been looking for the changelog online, but can’t find any at the moment.
Haven’t updated mine yet due to slow internet connection where I am right now. Will post any changes I see after upgrading.

At last, may firmware upgrade na naman ang pinakapaborito kong mobile phone!
Just obtained a Mythic for myself and will be acquiring 1 for my wife quickly! It has just the appropriate mix of attributes. just brief of the complete smartphone. I’m preserving an eye about the Captivate for any prospective long term phone…prices are way as well large when released. I’ve been in substantial tech for 20+ many years and essentially hack anything I personal to make it superior laptops, GPS, vehicle navigation systems, etc. and yes cell phones as well. Inside handful of days I’ve owned the cell phone I’ve previously set up Opera Mini, Bolt 2.1, freecaddie, Google Maps w/GPS functionality, deleted all locked unproductive apps right after backing them up and completely modified the menu process to my exact needs without having all useless apps.
I decided to resurrect my N82 after reading a blog Pimp my Nokia N82. I removed the already yellowed invisible shield and saw the phone’s face as pristinely brand new.I have re-discovered the N82′s very good stereo audio and excellent camera. More important, the N82′s gps is spot-on on gps positioning. Maybe you can resume blogging on the N82. Do you know any link on the N82 as a gps transmitter to Android? Many articles I read are hazy. There are many android apps but I’m more interested on the setup on the N82 side. Thanks
Hi Ces, I also resurrected my old N82 just last week. About using the GPS of Nokia N82 for other devices, I don’t think it is possible as this is dependednt on the unit where the GPS receiver is installed. Even if you use tethering on your N82, the Android gadget will just use the Network location as basis for showing where you are. Google Maps will work on your Nokia N82.
