My take on the mobile world…

Home » Mobile Brands » New phone: Samsung E2152

I’m a first time user of a Samsung phone. Never did like Samsung coz back then, Nokia was far more better when it comes to features. Not until I needed a dual sim phone. And Samsung has one that i really like… The Samsung E2152.

I first saw this from my officemate back in October. She bought it for around Php 4,000. I said it was too expensive. But after giving up on my Cherry Mobile 1802, this phone was my next target. Good thing when i bought it this month, the price already went  down to just Php 3,800.

Here’s some specs:

I’ll tell you more of this phone’s features on my future posts. But one thing you need to know now is that even if its dual standby,  you’ll still need to press a button on the right side of the phone to change networks when you want to call or send a message using another network/sim. Like if you’re currently using SIM 1, messages and calls from SIM 2 will come in. But if you want to reply to that message using SIM 2, you have to push the button to switch the SIM in use. Its not that complicated. You’ll eventually get the hang of it.

For those who like QUERTY phones, Samsung also has a cheap dual sim phone which goes by the name Samsung Punch. And I heard its on Sale – just don’t know for how long. :)

Wow I was browsing your blog after searching for globe network. And then I found this post at the bottom.
We recently bought two units of this phone last wednesday para pareho kami ng girlfriend ko. We are looking for a dual sim phone and ang option lang ay Cherry mobile, myPhone at ito ngang samsung.
Thanks for sharing on how to use the side button, wala pa kasi time magbasa ng manual!
