Let’s check out two of my Android phones, the Cherry Mobile Orbit and the Alcatel OT-890D.
As you can see from the specs sheet below between these two dual sim phones, the Cherry Mobile Orbit is the clear winner in terms of having a bigger screen, 3G function, better camera, etc.
Price
- Alcatel OT-890D = Php 4,990.00
- Cherry Mobile Orbit = Php12,998 (but got it while it was on sale for Php6,499)
But because of the price, a lot of mobile phone users will surely pick the Alcatel OT-890D over the Orbit. Aside from the price, here are some advantages of the Alcatel OT-890D:
- Surprisingly performs faster when switching from one application to another;
- Better onscreen keypad – switching from querty to alphanumeric keypad is easy
- battery lasts longer (lower processor speed, plus its using li-ion battery)
But if the price of the Orbit stays at the discounted price of Php 6,500 or below, its worth the money.
We will be seeing more dual Sim android phones in the market. But who will give the cheapest price?

Alcatel is a phone that is appropriate for teenagers who wants to have and try on a Android phone, while the Cherry mobile orbit is best for working people who wants a better quality phone.
I’d rather choose Alcatel, it’s more durable than CM. (;
That’s not really fair. In terms with the price, surely, Orbit has more features. Try android phone with prices 6K+
then we’ll know the difference.
Try Orbit and Samsung Galaxy Y
