You will now hear Visayan speaking Customer Service Representatives as well as when choosing menu options via the interactive voice response system when you call your Globe Customer Service Hotlines.
In a recent press release:
Globe set up an exclusive Visayan interactive voice response (IVR) system and deployed Visayan-speaking CSR agents based in Cebu to serve sales, after-sales, and technical concerns on broadband and landline services of customers in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. This is a milestone not only for Globe but for our Visayan-speaking subscribers because they will find that when they talk to Globe, we are more responsive and there are no language barrier.
The Visayan language is the second most-widely spoken dialect here in the Philippines more specifically in various provinces and cities in Visayas and Mindanao.

Hi Migs! Out of curiosity, I tried calling 211 through my Globe postpaid mobile. So far, there were no options for a Visayan language settings yet. When I asked the customer service representative, they said it hasn’t been implemented on their end yet. Sayang!
I really hope this pushes through, because it will be of great help to our Visayan kababayans.
