Globe and TM is giving its subscribers the opportunity to access Facebook for FREE.
Whether it’s a witty one-liner, a picture with your favorite celebrity or the changing your status from “single” to “in a relationship,” you can now share anything while on the go. No more waiting to get to the nearest internet cafe or for an available Wi-Fi signal to post, like, comment and share on Facebook!
Any Globe or TM subscriber – either using a mobile Phone or a tablet – can use this.
How to do it (Note: I used an android phone to try this out):
- Make sure you have at least P1.00 to register;
- Dial *143# and press CALL;
- Wait for a few seconds…. then you’ll receive a list of services;
- Choose/input number 5 (5 surf promos and free FB);
- A sort of confirmation will appear on the screen, just click OK;
- Make sure your Data/3G connection is active;
- Open your mobile browser;
- Type m.facebook.com.
This promo is only valid from February 15 to March 14, 2012 AND when accessing m.facebook.com on your phone’s internet browser (Not valid for use on Opera Mini browsers). Clicking on external links like YouTube, Yahoo, etc. will be subject to regular browsing.
