According to Globe, the SuperSurf promo is only until March 31, 2012. But I was still able to register yesterday.
SuperSurf lets you do unlimited internet on your mobile phone or Tattoo Broadband for a minimum of one day (they also have 5 days and 30 days). It is available to Globe, TM, and Globe Tattoo Broadband subscribers.
I’m a user of the one day and 5 day SuperSurf for my prepaid number. One day if I’m out on field work (usually meetings) and I need an “unli” internet. Five days if I’m in Manila or on long vacation.
I did not know forgot that the promo expired last month. I was trying to register yesterday when I submitted the wrong keyword. Instead of Supersurf50, I typed Supersurf<space>50, a keyword for Postpaid subscribers wanting to use supersurf. I checked Globe’s website today and saw the promo duration.
I hope Globe will formally extend or renew this promo. Or better yet, make it a permanent offer.
