I was curious when I saw this brand, Firefly Mobile. It was being offered at two mobile phone stores at The Annex – SM North Edsa.
What made me look closer on this mobile phone brand is the close similarity of some of its phones to the Nokia Querty phones. Just take a look at the pic below…
Don’t they look like Nokia E-series phones? Upon checking the web looking for Firefly Mobile, I found some more mobile phone look-a-like (can we call them clones?):
Firefly 777 (Php 2,490) and Firefly W008 (Php 7,990)
Note that these are all DUAL SIM mobile phones. Very cheap ones. I don’t know what operating system the Nokia Clones are running on. But some of the touch phones are running on ANDROID!
See, a Php 3,790 android dual sim phone.
I’m not sure about the quality, the battery, and of course the after sales support. I found a firefly mobile websites but its in the US and they’re offering phones for kids and I think that this Firefly mobile Philippines is different.
Anyone has tried these phones? (I want to try one! Its cheap anyway)
Na try ko na yung W008, maganda siya pero for 8000 pesos makakabili ka na ng magandang branded android phone, pero maganda talaga kasi 4 inch screen niya, mabilis naman.

bakit ang s70 madaling uminit ang fon.. tapos wla pang i month pag bili co sira nah .. bakit ng puti nlng yung screen yah .. nkakainis ..

Hello! ang alam ko pareho sila ng HTC na from taiwan.
I tried the w008. Okay naman. Malaki ung screen, above average ng kaunti ung graphics(?), okay din ung camera pero kadudaduda ung 8mp, at masarap gamitin. Yun nga lang hindi siya advisable sa gaming kasi di smooth ang takbo. But then bihira ka makakita ng phone na worth almost 8k na ganun and i believe very reasonable ung price.
hey guys im currently using firefly w71(E series clone if im not mistaken). so far so good. running it’s apps on java. i don’t know it’s os yet. inaalam ko pa para mas ma maximize ko yung use ng fone. long lasting naman bat pero when im using wifi mabilis kumain ng bat like other smart phones etc. the touch screen is also good. motion sencor good. audio good. dual camera good.

kabibili ko lang ng firefly u819.. so far medyo na ninibago ako at naiinis sa phone na to.. cause ibang iba sya sa cp na gamit ko before,na disappoint ako kasi sabi nila maganda tong phone na to.. 1st wala syang mp3 list.. i mean me mp3 sya pero hindi as a list na pwede mong i background music. 2nd poor camera.. sabi nila 1.5MP daw and camera.. pero mas malinaw parin ung 1.3MP na camera ng dati kog cp. 3rd me sent items folder pero useless kasi di pumapasok dun ung mga sinesend ko.. but somehow ok naman siya. tingin ko masyado lang malaki ang expectation ko about this phone lalo na nung sinabi saaking expandable daw ang memory nito up to 32gb.. pero kung gagamitin lang aman siya as a extra phone ok naman. just dont expect to much..,,im planning to buy another phone cause honestly i dont like this phone..

Hello. I’m Using Firefly W71. It’s So Incredible And Fantastic. I Bought It In SM Manila A While Ago And I Play Movie. The Sound Quality Is Good. The Camera Is Also Good. And I Played Java Games. I Hope That I Use It For Several Years

I think I’d like to try a Firefly phone. I love my Nokia phone but sometimes gusto ko lang ng nakakalikot. Though at the moment wala ako balak bumili. Kahit mura pa yan di ko naman kasi talaga kailangan. Siguro makiki hiram nalang ako pag meron akong kakilalang may Firefly Mobile.

Meron ako nung s070 na Android Phone. ^__^ Maganda naman sya. Nasasayo na lang kung sisirain mo. Nandun yung bilis. Kaya lang yung camera. Ok na rin. xD hahaha. 14 years old palang ako kaya ganyan ako sa phone ko. Wala syang Live wallpaper. Pero wala naman akong pakelam dun kasi malakas umubos ng battery yun. i just purchased firefly mobile touch r10 at compex for 1,890php but the problem is unable to install java games and themes. but the folder “themes” is in my memory card when i first insert it in.. my concern is, anong supported file type nito for install other applications.. lahat unsopported eh..

i just bought a firefly S70 ung nakapost sa fB as of now wala naman problems battery life mga 1 1/2 ok, btw nabagsak ko cya ok parin, screen nya ok, di ko pa nasubukan ung java,pero .apk files ok cya!may lag konti kapag games, speaker ok din.nde pa din nasubukan magfull blast ng music, nasubukan ko na ang temple run dito ok nman…magpost na lang ulit ako after ibang test ko
I’m using the firefly_S70. Maganda na po siya para sa Price at sa specs. Problem ko lang po sa kanya ay yung screen, di masyado sensitive.
nkabili din ako ng s70 na phone kc ang cheap tlaga. ok naman xa tulad ng pnost ninyo nkakapaglaro din ako temple run(although my minimal lags pero ok na un)
pero tanong ko lng po ano po ba exact specs ng phone na ito, kce dun sa box nya wla manlng nkasulat na specs.. pti dun sa pnagbilhan nmen ung android version lng at camera alam nya haha
mga ido paano mag hared reset dito sa s70 ko to many pattern po kasi lumalabas
meron ako s_70 binili ko para lang mag experement… now sire na sya ahahaha xD!!! pero hindi ko sinadya na masira… gumamit kasi ako ng software para malink ko yung ibang internal apps to external sd… then hiniram ng anak ko sd ko para lang ma copy nya yung ibanga files ko,,, ok pinatay ko yung phone.. then copy ng anak ko yung files na gusto nya… ng binalik nya sa akin yung sd nalaglag… hindi nya alam natapakan na nya kahahanap kung nasan napunta,, yung nabali yung 32 g na sd ko… kung san naka save yung ibang internal apps ng s_70 ko yun ng open ko sya without sd lagi na lang sya restart ng restart ayaw ng magtuloy… wala akong makitang stock rom nya para sana ma flash sya kasi rooted naman sya at na-oopen ko yung android recovery utilities nya.. problem hindi sya pwede ma flash ng new rom kailangan yung stock rom nya lang hindi ko na alam ano pa ang gagawin…. wala ako l=makita sa net for almost 1 wk na ako naghahanap…. anyone here can help?…
