LG releases its own cloud storage service, LG Cloud, ahead of Samsung’s S-Cloud.
LG Cloud is the online storage service that users can enjoy video clips, music files or photo files wherever they are.
It stores a user’s data in real time (Folder Sync) and makes it possible that a user enjoys video, music and photo files stored in LG Cloud in any environment by using various multimedia devices such as Smart TV, mobile phone and PC.
Like other cloud storage service -Dropbox, Skydrive, Google Drive to name a few – LG Cloud has a PC and mobile phone and tablet) client. Install it and sync your files anywhere, anytime. You can also access your files via any web browser and on an LG Smart TV.
Currently LG Cloud is only available in Korea and the U.S.(limited areas). But LG promises to expanded it to more countries. LG device users will be given 5GB free while non-LG device users will only be given 2GB.
