I was surprised to receive a text message from Globe saying that my load will expire soon.
Globe’s Load Watch is working.
If you haven’t heard of it yet, this is a free and automatic load notification service from Globe triggered by specific load usage scenarios and other related transactions.
Using the Globe Prepaid Load Watch, prepaid subscribers will receive alerts on their mobile phones when their load reaches P5 or less, when they have insufficient balance to make calls or send a text message, or every end of a chargeable call, among many others. These alerts will also indicate the remaining load amount, expiry date and time, as well as promo balance.
In my case, I shared Php 10.00 from my postpaid account to my prepaid account two days ago. And now its telling me that the load will expire tomorrow.
At least consumers won’t say “ninankaw ang load” coz we were informed.
Hope this will really help stop “nakaw load” because I once lost P50.
