My good friend Blogie is complaining about the “intrusive marketing gimmicks” being done by Smart on smart bro users.
Smart Bro users like him are seeing an “info web page”. But the problem is… its appearing at times when you least expect it.

Smart Bro recently released new offerings for its customers. First is the Smart Bro “Share-it”.

In what seems to be Smart Bro’s answer to Globe’s recent price drop of their Globe Prepaid Visibility, Smart made a similar price cut of their Smart Bro Plug-it prepaid from P2,500 down to P1,995.

Total initial payment is P1995 with FREE P100 broadband load.  Broadband Internet use is P10 for every 30 minutes.

Just bought a smart bro plug it prepaid kit yesterday for P2,800.00.
Actually i was contemplating on whether to have the P1,500 unlimited plan or the prepaid kit. The sales person helped me do some math and i decided to go for the prepaid kit instead. It will be much cheaper for me.

So, it was true after all.. Smart really did have a P1,500 smart bro plan… just like what was “whispered” to me.
I was more focused on their prepaid plan which dropped prices and would now only cost P2,500.

However, i just learned that they have discontinued their Smart Bro P1,500 unlimited plan in lieu of “System enhancement”.
